Piney Grove Campgrounds

PINEY GROVE CAMPGROUND is a “Class-A” facility.

Each site has an:

Impact pad
Picnic table
Grill
Fire ring
Lantern post
Water and electrical hookups

Additional facilities include:

Boat ramp
Playgrounds
Multi-use game courts
Picnic shelter
Restrooms with showers
Laundry building
Trailer dump station
Fish cleaning station
An amphitheater for seasonal weekend programs
A nearby beach

The beach is open seasonally, but no lifeguards are provided. The restrooms and several of the campsites are handicapped-accessible. Registered campers may use any day-use facility on the Waterway without charge.

For those of you who really want to get back to nature there is Piney Grove Primitive Campground. Ten campsites with impact pads, picnic tables, and grills are available at no charge. Only accessible by boat, there is no water or electrical hookups. Title 36 rules do apply.

Piney Grove Campground is administered by Bay Springs Site Office, Corps of Engineers. The Corps is continually striving to meet the needs and desires of our visitors, and we welcome any comments about our parks or camping policies.
